		<description>It&#039;s also rather in the interests of The Times, is it not, to separate the status of the journalistic source, who works with the old media, and the blogger, who works alone with the new media, and to apply different rules/laws to them.

This way the traditional media stands less chance of being frozen out of important stories, or being diverted by sources who can simply say what they want, in the way they want, without having to feed it all to a reporter first, who may well have his or her own agenda.

Without sounding too much like a left-wing conspiracy theorist, does this not benefit Mr Murdoch and the professional media industry somewhat, and hurt the new media?</description>
