Totally understand where you’re coming from, Gary. Sometimes you have to admit that you can’t keep so many plates spinning in the air and that the one you need to focus on really is work. The good thing about blogging, though, is that you can stop and start again whenever it’s right for you. Even if you never blog again, that’s fine – as long as you’re left happier with the other stuff going on in your life as a result.
So good luck, mate. As Terry said before, you’re a loss to the blogosphere, but you leave it with your head held high.

Likewise; totally understand this. I stopped for similar reasons, and some more, but mostly because blogging’s kind of annoying really. Didn’t miss it, but did miss the disicpline. I think now I’ve got my new one up, which isn’t updated very often, I’m writing a bit more — but paying for hosting kind of makes you want to justify it.
Anyway. I’m sure you’ll be back. And we’ll be chuffed when you are.
Godspeed!

I can relate to what you have said Gary but it is a shame that you will stop blogging even for the time being. I read a couple of your articles sometime ago on Soccerlens and enjoyed them. I appreciate the idea of researching first as it is the key for a quality article.

A distinctly average blog that never had anything interesting to say, and one that won’t be missed, and to leave a big post clearly getting designed with just getting sympathy is vomit-worthy.
You’ve made the right decision. Please don’t come back.
